What if I just have a question about my injury?
While we cannot give you a diagnosis or treatment advice over the phone without a proper evaluation, we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have! We understand that injuries come with a lot of uncertainty. And maybe you just need to ask a few questions.
What is a "No-Sweat" Discovery Visit?
Our "No-Sweat" Discovery Visit is a free 30-minute session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to discuss your injury and goals. We can also answer any questions you may have regarding insurance, payment, and what your sessions would look like. Come in, meet us, explore the clinic, and let's see if we're a good fit for each other - without obligation or pressure.
Can we just cut to the chase and schedule an Initial Evaluation?
Yes! Why wait to start feeling better? Sounds like you know what you want, so let's just get to it!
What should I expect for my first visit? What should I bring?
On your first visit, you will be evaluated by one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy. The first session will last about one hour.
Do you accept my insurance?
MVMT accepts the insurances listed below as an Out of Network provider. We will handle the appropriate paperwork and submissions to your insurance carrier on your behalf. We also accept cash for services provided, due at the time of treatment.

What services do you provide?
MVMT specializes in Functional Manual Therapy. Our therapists have advanced training beyond their Doctorate degrees. Physical therapy sessions address the spectrum of injury, from management of acute and chronic pain, to performance improvement and return to sports, dance and performance.
What injuries do you treat?
As orthopedic manual physical therapists, we treat just about every musculoskeletal disorder in the body. We specialize in orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports rehab, and dance medicine.
How long will my treatment sessions be?
Your first visit will be 1 hour with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Follow-up sessions are between 30-45 minutes. Please plan to arrive early in order to change clothes and get situated. We do our best to start and end on time!
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the delivery of Physical Therapy services via a video call. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, this has become a viable and popular choice for patients who are required to stay at home.
What is a Hybrid Visit?
Have the best of both worlds! Hybrid Visits combine in-person clinical visits with Telehealth visits. We've designed this to reduce contact during COVID-19, yet still get the benefits of working with us in the clinic. Start feeling better in a way that works for you.
